Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 July 2026
Ryddat is a product in early development, and the application doesn't have paying customers or live accounts yet. Today, these terms mainly govern your use of ryddat.com, the marketing website. The sections describing accounts, fees, and product features describe how the Service is intended to work once it's generally available, so you can review them before requesting access — a separate signed customer agreement may still apply at that point.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using ryddat.com, or by using the Ryddat application once it becomes available to you, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. If you're accepting on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
Scope of these terms
The sections on acceptable use, intellectual property, third-party services, illustrative content, no warranty, limitation of liability, governing law, and contact apply to your use of ryddat.com today. The sections on accounts, fees, the description of the Service, service limitations, AI-assisted features, and data apply once you have access to the Ryddat application, and are included now so you can review them in advance.
Eligibility and business use
Ryddat is built for business use by companies and their authorized employees or contractors — it is not directed at, or intended for use by, individual consumers. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 18 years old, are using the Service on behalf of a business, and are authorized to act on that business's behalf.
Description of the Service
Ryddat is a suite of workflow tools for supplier operations. The part of it available today, Ryddat Documents, helps a company track which documents it needs from its suppliers — such as safety data sheets, CE declarations, REACH or RoHS declarations, ISO certificates, and similar compliance documentation — see what's missing, generate and send request emails, track supplier replies, store the documents it receives, and monitor expiration dates so renewal requests can go out automatically. It is a workflow and tracking tool, not a document-storage system, an ERP, a CRM, or a compliance certification service. Other parts of the suite referenced on ryddat.com may not yet be available; where that's the case, it's marked clearly.
What Ryddat can and can't do
This section matters, so we're stating it plainly: Ryddat helps you organize, request, and remind. It does not, and cannot, force a supplier to do anything.
- We can generate and send document requests to the suppliers you tell us about, and send automatic reminders when a supplier hasn't responded.
- We cannot compel, guarantee, or promise that any supplier will respond, provide the requested documentation, or respond within any particular timeframe. Suppliers are third parties — not Ryddat customers — and their responsiveness is entirely outside our control.
- Ryddat does not impose penalties, fines, or other consequences on a supplier for failing to respond or provide documentation. Where we offer supplier scoring or rating features, they are informational only — a record for your own internal reference — and are not a sanction, penalty, or legal consequence imposed by Ryddat.
- You remain responsible for deciding how to respond to a supplier who doesn't comply — for example, following up outside the platform, escalating through your own contracts, or choosing a different supplier — and for independently verifying that any document you receive is valid, current, complete, and actually satisfies your regulatory or contractual obligations. Ryddat is a tracking and communication tool, not a substitute for your own compliance judgment or legal advice.
Accounts
Once the Ryddat application is generally available, using it will require a business account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account, for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of the supplier contact information and other data you enter into the Service, for the content of any request or message you choose to send through it, and for using the Service in compliance with applicable law — including data protection law that applies to the personal data of your suppliers' contacts. You're solely responsible for determining what documentation your business actually needs to be compliant, and for confirming that documents received satisfy that need; Ryddat helps you track the process, but doesn't provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice.
Communications with your suppliers
Suppliers interact with requests through ordinary email — they aren't required to create a Ryddat account or adopt any new tool. Requests and reminders generated through the Service are sent using the contact details you provide, on your organization's behalf. We're not responsible for a supplier's failure to receive, read, or act on a message due to factors outside our control, such as incorrect contact information, spam filtering, or staff changes at the supplier.
AI-assisted features
Some features may use AI to help — for example, suggesting a document type or key details for an uploaded file, or drafting a request email. These suggestions can be wrong. A human user always has the opportunity to review, edit, and confirm before anything AI-suggested is saved or sent; Ryddat does not save or send AI-generated output for anything compliance-critical without that confirmation. You're responsible for reviewing AI-assisted output before relying on it.
Early access has no guarantee
Requesting early access through this site does not guarantee that you'll receive access, on any particular timeline, or that the finished product will match every feature described here or on ryddat.com. Ryddat is under active development, and the scope, design, and availability of features may change before general availability.
Illustrative content
Supplier names, document statuses, and figures shown on this site (for example, in the product preview graphic) are illustrative examples, not real customer data, live statistics, or specific commitments about what the finished product will look like.
Acceptable use
Whether you're browsing ryddat.com or, once available, using the Ryddat application, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content or data beyond normal use.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to impersonate any person or entity, or to send suppliers, or us, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive communications.
- Use the Service to request documentation you're not legitimately entitled to request, or for any unlawful purpose.
- Copy, reproduce, resell, or reuse the Ryddat name, logo, or Service content for your own purposes without our written permission.
- Share account access with anyone not authorized to use it on your organization's behalf.
Fees and payment
Ryddat has not yet announced pricing. Once fees apply, they'll be presented to you clearly before you're charged, along with any billing terms specific to your plan. Continuing to use a paid feature after being shown its price constitutes agreement to pay for it.
Intellectual property
The Ryddat name, logo, and the text, design, and code of ryddat.com and the Ryddat application are owned by Ryddat unless otherwise noted, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that ownership to you. As between you and Ryddat, you retain ownership of the supplier data, documents, and other content you upload to or generate through the Service ("Customer Data"); you grant Ryddat a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide the Service to you.
Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through ryddat.com today and how we handle it. Once the Ryddat application is generally available, a separate, more detailed privacy policy and data processing terms will govern how Customer Data — including any personal data about your suppliers' contacts — is handled, reflecting that the application will process that data on your behalf.
Third-party services
ryddat.com is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and the application form on this site uses Resend to deliver submissions by email — see our Privacy Policy for details. Your use of the Service is also subject to the relevant terms of these providers. We're not responsible for the availability or content of any third-party site or service we link to or rely on.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Without limiting that, we don't warrant that any supplier will respond to a request or reminder sent through the Service, or that any document you receive will be complete, accurate, or sufficient for your compliance needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ryddat is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any loss arising from a supplier's failure to respond to, or comply with, a request sent through the Service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Ryddat harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these terms, or content or requests you submit through the Service, except to the extent caused by our own breach of these terms or applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Once accounts exist, we may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or extended inactivity, with notice where reasonably practicable. On termination, the license to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
Changes to the Service and these terms
We may update these terms, and change, add to, or remove features of the Service, as it evolves. We'll reflect material changes in the "last updated" date above, and where changes are significant, we'll make a reasonable effort to let existing customers know before they take effect.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence. Disputes arising from these terms are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, without preventing either party from seeking injunctive relief where necessary.
General provisions
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Ryddat regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject — except where a separate signed customer agreement expressly says otherwise. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it.
